In a new Honors Program seminar, students are exploring what is required to safely send humans to Mars. Taught by professors in physical therapy, physics and history, the capstone course examines the multitude of challenges including rocket and habitat design, and the effects of microgravity and radiation all within the historical context of human exploration.
